What I Wore Wednesday

I actually managed to take pictures of 4 of my outfits last week, but I actually made an effort to put 6 cute outfits together, but didn't take pictures of the ones on the weekends. Still, I feel proud of myself for not wearing sweats every day!!

This is a pretty typical outfit for me. I've been on a plaid, button-up shirt kick this winter, probably inspired a LOT by Claire on Modern Family. (LOVE that show!)

Plaid Shirt, jeans: Target
Flats: Payless Shoe Source

This outfit was a big step for me. I love t-shirts and this is my all time favorite one. But, it's hard (for me) to make a t-shirt look stylish. I usually just throw it on with sweat pants or jeans and a hoodie over it. I thought the cardigan, flats and earrings made it more fun!
Ramona shirt: Portland Public Library
Cardigan, jeans, flats: Target
Earrings: The Icing

Ramona is one of my all time favorite characters EVER!

It is still really chilly here most days, even when it's sunny. I'm enjoying wearing my sweaters and boots for a little while longer, plus almost all of my summer clothes (and shoes!) are in storage.

Hooded Sweater: Victoria's Secret
Jeans, long sleeve tee: Target
Boots: Payless Shoe Source
Necklace: Forever 21 accessory store

Cardigan: thrifted
T-shirt, jeans, flats: Target
Earrings: The Icing

I'm discovering that while I enjoy using cute, 'stylish' (I'm not sure WHAT that is) pieces, the most important thing to me is comfort. I also tend to wear something not totally feminine to balance things out. (I've never been a total girly girl) I also like color!

The Ramona shirts are for sale at the Portland Public Library, I have no idea if you can get them anywhere else! But, if you VISIT Portland, I will take you and we can go to Klickitat Lane, which really exists!! AND, there's a park with sculptures of characters from her books, which is on my bucket list to go see! COME VISIT ME!!!
